Reviewing Netflix s Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead
Reviewing Netflix’s Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead
We've seen a lot of movies and gear about zombies, but Zom 100: The List of the Dead, available on Netflix for a cheap price, puts an original twist on the undead situation. Away from the dark atmosphere that is typical of end-of-the-world scenarios, the movie tries to find humor and a holiday in the chaos.
But will they succeed in realizing this bold theory, or will they stumble like zombies to reach their desired delicious food list? Enter this universe of high and low moods of abnormality around a familiar subject: zombies.
Exploring Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead -Manga, Anime and Film
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead - Like a gift from the land of the rising sun. Imagine yourself, invented by Haruo Aso and brought to life by Kotaro Takada with his own drawings. It all started in October 2018 in the monthly Sunday GENE-X magazine. And you guessed it? There are now 14 books full of these amazing situations.
Zom 100 is not a rudimentary manga. It is like a shining star with various instructions. There is also a TV show from July 2023. And a movie! It will be released on Netflix in August 2023, adding a new chapter to the adventure of Zom 100. It is amazing to see how this situation affects the minds of many people in various ways.
A Promising start with an unusual protagonist
Tendo Akira, played by Akaso Eiji, is bored with the monotonous daily life ruled by a strict boss. When an unexpected zombie apocalypse destroys the world, Akira's journey takes a sudden turn.
The hint of this movie is in Akira's eagerness to complete all the items on his to-do list, even when chaos reigns in the world. This original thinking invites us to refresh our intelligence of happiness in the face of impending death.
ZOM100: The Dead's Bucket List Netflix / CourtesyAn engaging beginning, A meandering path
Akira's transformation from living man to weary collaborator is impressive in fantasy, and his sudden admiration for a world that pretends to be dead brings unusual humor. But as the plot becomes more cinematic, it becomes a little sideways and inferior to the classic zombie clichés, losing track of the intended path.
The film teases us by studying Akira and his journey, but by the crow, he continues to get lost and get caught up in familiar ground. In fact, the film seems to have abandoned its original concept in favor of the template layout of the zombie.
Moments of creativity amidst the ordinary
ZOM100 is missing an element of creativity. In addition, there are quite a few references to soccer games woven into it, but they are transformed into humorous encounters with the zombies. But such flashes of genius are often overshadowed by an overall weak story and a cyclical fabric.
As the film approaches its formulaic climax, it struggles to deliver on its initial promise. Even when the situation does reach its climax, the once distinctive fun fades away, leaving the audience yearning for more than a good resolution.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead – The Final Verdict
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead starts off with a promising idea and a charismatic protagonist, but struggles to secure a coherent and interesting story. Without a careful look at its own logic, the film fails to live up to its personal potential, and we are left hoping for the best.
Despite its flaws, the film's guiding premise of embracing the transience of life remains a beacon of positivity, even in a zombie-infested world.
As far as zombie comedies go, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is sprinkled with creativity but falls short of moving, coming off a mix of laughs and undead antics.
