This is a short educational program that my game was developed and completed in X4. My voice will reach the developers who are looking forward to the news about X5. No, children, I have hardly heard rumors. I haven't heard anything that you don't hear. I can't wait to jump into the world of X again. That is important. I want to tell you why I don't play anymore.
After arranging TLD R-Xen to Extinction, there was no more contact. There was nothing to threaten me in the universe. *I was a threat. And the economy of the universe collapsed. This is also my fault. The result is that there is no incident = there is no market.
I started just like other players. He earned, gathered crystals, studied mechanics, and did not eat bad pilots until they were made by themselves. My situation turned up when I was quite rich to buy Odasseus. I have the best equipment on the beast, loading 40 Perseus fighters and 10 Nemesis M fighters in the compartment. The fleet not only made it easier, but completely destroyed it. After that, Zen did not pass through the gate at least once, including whether or not he sent three serious ships. S-Fighter was definitely very small and very agile, giving Xena the opportunity to eliminate them. And all, in fact, the S hunter did not suppress Odysseus, like a piranha flock. It was quite effective. As I remember from Zenframe, it's very bulky, so I really felt like I really had it to support another one to support M-Hunter with dock and security. I had. For all the time of the game, I had a lot of only 10 to 15 Fede Hunter S. Nothing is terrible, they can just change them.
So when I had the time, I equipped and placed another fleet behind the gate that Zhen was using to enter friendly space. I didn't know what to do and realized that it was the beginning of eating away at Zhen's resources. After a while, AI patrol ships started approaching Ksen territory. I moved my fleet to the other side of the gate. Soon I felt brave enough to attack Ksen's station. I equipped my Odysseus special destroyer, the station killer. A big, slow, absolutely destructive tool. I had to arrange for micromanipulators. Even with my best pilots, they were stupid enough to wander in the weapons area with station weapons, even though their own weapons had a long range. All in all, with a fleet of 8 such "station assassins", I was able to clear out the Ksen sector in a few hours of real time and then claim it for myself.
A few days later, Ksen was destroyed. Gone. Dead. In the game, Ksenov Stations appeared, but each one died because there was no Ksenov Ship to resupply them. Yes, Kaakis were still causing problems, but now they were completely busy with AI patrols. Kaakis were mosquitoes in a tornado.
At the same time, I started to notice that all the stations were stagnating. Goods were not moving like they used to. The same thing happened with the AI stations. It was like the entropic death of the universe. I realized that the X4 universe needed war to keep the economy going.
And as soon as I realized that, I closed the game and never came back to it. I closed the game and never went back to that world again. I never even touched the sequel. I knew how to kill the universe. I was strong enough to slowly extinguish it in any form. There were no more phone calls.
Why is this important to the developers? In x3 and x2, everything was different. In the games before that, a certain level of threat remained no matter what. For example, in X3, Roy Harkov could appear anywhere at any time, and one horde was enough of a threat to break through my company. This alone kept me playing for 6 months in X3, but I got through it in 3 months in X4. Don't get me wrong, those 3 months were amazing in the literal sense. I remember sitting anxiously watching my ship go through space on autopilot. So, hats off to the developers, thank you! Please make the next X more exciting and amazing! And add a constant threat to the universe!

By the way, about the rumors.

I agree. The developers are desperately trying to eliminate threats and challenges to the player when it comes to combat. Starting with empty shield slots on Xenon main turrets, which are ridiculously easy to destroy, especially in OOS (I saw FAF rattlesnakes vs 3 Ks in OOS, I flew into a sector and saw the rattles get blown to smithereens, and went pew pew against 3 Ks that didn't have a single intact turret), and ending with ridiculous faction fleets, e. g. https://ibb. co/HdZw1ks
War-based economies are the same. Just build ships for the factions at war. For example, when I was playing as a Terran cadet, I completed a chain mission that led to a Terran-Argonian war. It was fun for a while, and my Terran shipyards had constant orders to build ships. But this only lasted until the Asgard invaded the first sector on Argon. As you know, Asgard is impossible in OOC, and no number of ships can have their shields below 100%. Luckily, I was able to load a save before the "war" started, so I was able to prevent this one Asgard from wiping Argon from existence from the universe.
In short, I think it's a good idea to move away from X4. I'm not interested in pirate-themed DLC, so it might take a while.
Edit: In X3 TC, no matter how rich and powerful your fleet was, you could go to a major alien sector and fight an epic battle, do your job, and then come back to have fun with your fleet. Xenon does not recover. Just save once and you have endless fun. Ah. Those were the days.

TLDR - After I arranged Xen to extinction, there was no contact anymore. Nothing in the universe threatened me. *I was the threat. And the economy of the universe collapsed. This is my fault, too. No incidents = no market, so that's the result.
