This is my consideration about the MSI RX 550 LP card. I have a desktop PC DELL 780 C 255 W power supply. Only connectors are needed, but there is space for dual fans. Therefore, it looks like a 2-slot card. Fortunately, this card works on my system. The previous card was GT 1030, which was a fresh and beautiful card, but I sometimes failed when the game hung up or stuttered. I still adopt it, and I can't even enter GTX 1050 in my system with 112 gigabytes because of the fact that the design needs two PCI slots. I do not have a PCI empty slot. This RX 550 is also 112GB, which is inferior, but works perfectly and flows smoothly. I'm the most frisky because I'm running without lining or FRTC. I compared the GT 1030 competing with my system. According to my opinion that the clock frequency is actually low, it works smoothly and quickly the AA A-game is larger or larger than GT 1030. I bought this to add to my Vega 56 mining rig (along with 3 other V56s from XFX). Before I bought this device, I only tested it on my gaming machine and it seemed to work fine. Then I added it to my mining install and it soon started failing to load the operating system (Win 10 Pro). I thought for a while that it was most likely the power supply, OS or motherboard. Then I started to think that maybe the card was bad! The card itself worked fine but when I installed it with the XFX Vega 56es, nothing worked. I ended up finding an education center here that confirmed my suspicions. Not all, but I bought another XFX Vega 56 and installed it in my mining rig and it worked without any issues. I also can't imagine putting it with other cards in my gaming setup, but it would be an update (I have 2 HD 7970s from my grandfather). While I was working with this card, I removed the cooler to reseat the TIM and replace the thermal pads (I thought I could, but it would overheat). Finally, this card is supposed to be a reference design (someone found this in a question). I attach a photo of the board (it's not very good). I recently revisited it to make an EKWB waterblock.

Update 20180730: No. It won't work in a mini-itx assembly. The system has a Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI with an A10 7890K and 16GB DDR3. I have no idea if the power supply is involved or something else, and I have no intention of finding the cause. The GPU heats up (I assume because it's on the same circuit as the APU), but the LED doesn't light up, and it's not even recognized by the operating system (Win 10). This happens regardless of whether the IGP is forced integrated, disabled, or in auto mode. I'm currently considering buying another one and putting both in my gaming rig and decommissioning the 7970 for good.
