Call of Duty Vanguard Review Is This Game

Call of Duty Vanguard Review: Is This Game Just…Bad?

Since the launch of Call of Diety Vanguard, the public's reputation has been most varied and literally all played.

The sales of the game decreased by 40 % compared to the previous year's Cold War. This was a low number since "COD 4" released in 2007, and everyone was shocked.

Perhaps this was not enough time to advertise this game. For example, it seems that the game was announced literally one day before its release.

But there is no doubt that this is not all.

I realized that there are many unwanted comments about this game, so I play one of the main game modes, express my own conscientious ideas and concepts, and finally buy this game. I wanted to recommend it to you.

In this CALL OF DUTY VANGUARD review, it starts with a campaign, moves to zombies, and ends with multiplayer.

Campaign

The Call of Duty campaign is a reliable thing that most people don't care about, but to enjoy it for half a day. The whole campaign ends within 6 hours.

Following "COLD WAR" and "Modern War", the "VANGUARD" campaign again did not remain impressive.

There are only nine missions, and it ends up. At least the nine missions have a lot of locations, and the lighting and design are quite good.

However, the most disappointing thing is its periodic properties: noticing that you are in the shooting area, where various background scenes are developed.

For example, there are several missions that the manufacturer tried to change the battle mechanics, such as the "Midway Battle" and "Operation Tonga", which lacks more awkward and cleanliness.

The worst case is a no n-gravit y-free battle in the Midway Battle, which is literally irritated and frustrated.

It seems that the most powerful in this campaign is acting.

A very large number of casts can certainly help you immerse yourself in plots, but not enough to understand what is actually happening.

As soon as you clear one mission, you will be taken to a prison in Nazi. After that, the status of each character is explained, but it feels very quickly.

I want each person to have their own situation.

They basically talk to us, Wade is super-minded, and Polina is stubborn, but we hardly ever get anything out of here to have a chance for personal consideration.

The unit composition is very diverse, so it would be possible to arrange more things. For example, how hard it was for Arthur to be a black hunter in the 1940s, or that Pauline respected Polina because she was a woman who actually wanted to go to war.

Though such nuances have some impact, seeing them as outsiders rather than us would allow us to get more into the story.

It is true that it is impossible to reveal all the backgrounds because of the few missions, but in my eyes, they have a chance to arrange more things.

In the case of Polina Petrova, it takes about 10 minutes for her founder to be introduced. They need to be completely confused from what it seems like it is being destroyed. Since we didn't know him for a long time, including us, to breed away for his stay. With the same victory, it would be possible to show a sad scene for all the dead hunters in the campaign.

If you look at the actual gameplay, it's not rudimentary enough. The AI is unimaginably inconsistent. In a minute I crossed with the winning team of Atlanta Championship Phase and Quick Kill, and right - they died the controller, they ran down the stairs behind the battery.

To my eyes, this is all similar to the beta version. As for the important elements in the plot, for example, they are not in huge numbers. The fight with Steiner is basically a dangerous player game, quite boring and with a lot of glitches.

Overall, it's a cod that has nothing more to explain. Every time, the second project fight to compare with the scene - finally they need content for advertising. This allows it to be, but the union has a heat and repulsion to compare with what has been added almost.

Zombies

Vanguard Zombies is interesting.

Once you expand the initial operation and unlock all the zones for each perk, you don't have to worry about anything anymore.

The courtyard at the starting point is spacious and has everything important to keep destroying waves of zombies.

But it would be great if there were other zones to study.

During the Cold War, we had the chance to teleport to another kingdom with a completely different map for study. If Vanguard adhered to the same principles, we'd have a good chance of fighting 100 rounds of zombies in Stalingrad comfortably.

Another tie is that the game runs test circles.

At first, you can do tasks to unlock the zone, but after the sixth round, you only need to do a task to run to the correct wave of the zombie.

In my opinion, it is monotonous and not fun.

This seems to be a trial version of a new game, and you have to guess what will happen at the correct development stage.

Since Zombies has been released, there have been many updates, but no problem has been dealt with.

Developers added new operations, new weapons, and new tasks, but generally added to the mode was not sufficient.

In particular, "transmission" is malfunctioned each time it approaches the sphere.

To be honest, they are not interesting. It will be boring. It's a pretty minor technology. Again, I don't intend to say like a broken record, but I think I was able to provide a variety of test data to change the game a little.

The transition from the Cold War Flash game mode to this game mode feels like a big recession.

The map was large and detailed, and the weapons and abilities upgrade systems were really functioning and interesting. In Vanguard, it has a simply cu t-off version with no modernization function.

If the progress of the numerical values and the size of the Stalingrard do not make the "zombie" quite light, it will be even more powerful depending on the type of weapon and benefits.

In general, shotguns are quite inconvenient in Vanguard, but der anfang is exceptional.

In particular, a militar y-style shotgun seems to be able to shoot any zombies without any problems.

With the addition of the holy "Lesal Strike" to this, the zombies will not be able to defeat you. Overall, covenant is quite worthless, except for Death Stroke.

Of course, it will help you, but if you never reach out, you will not feel a big difference.

In addition, this mode is not so difficult. If you can increase the degree of each advantage four times, it is literally immortal with any weapon.

In addition, the scoring system has taken over the same route as Cold War, and can only score by destruction and critical destruction, but instead of 90 points and 115 points, 20 points due to normal destruction, critical destruction. You can get 30 points.

As a result, it is quite difficult to get a necessity, and it feels like you're spending hours shooting for hours without any rewards.

In other words, you have to spend a few hours to shoot zombies to level up.

Regarding the plot part, there is not much to say here.

So far, Zombies stands out with its detailed and complicated storytelling, but I do not deny that, given that Der Anfang is actually translated as "beginning".

But overall, this game mode is just shocking. As mentioned at the beginning, you have to invest a $ 1 to continue, but as mentioned at the beginning, you have to invest a $ 80 to continue, as mentioned at the beginning. It has resembled all processes.

Multiplayer

The game has 16 multiplayer maps, which is definitely a positive element. For example, like the previous work "COD" had 10 maps with the difficulty of co-op.

Some of them had the potential to be wonderful, but the newly added destroyed landscape in Vanguard completely cover them.

There are many pitches and corners that hit the shot, and the player's name tag and the reddish diamond above the head can be seen from the slight gap. Apparently, the color reproducibility and lighting are bad.

Speaking of the card ruined, Vanguard's unit spawn system makes this problem worse. There are quite a huge map, so players do not spawn in the middle of the game.

This game has not been released without rank mode yet, and considering the huge league scene surrounding this game, it is frankly confused.

Just two years ago, given the launch of the "Call of Duty League", which had a prize of $ 25 million (about 2. 5 billion yen) to each team, added a rating playlist in some form when the game was released. You might think it should have been.

Modern Warfare had no rank battle mode, and "COLD WAR" had only a scary version that appeared in the middle of this year.

It has been decided that the rating mode will be installed in Vanguard. And if it is added first in the game, it will be more fun for COD fans.

At least, there is a new game mode "Champion Hill". It was interesting when I played in the alpha version. Is there anyone who played from that?

It seems that each weapon slot of each weapon has increased from 5 to 10, so that each weapon can be organized as such.

TTK in previous COD games has always been different. In some games it was pretty fast, in others not so much.

But in Vanguard it's completely different.

The ability to add head-hollow cartridges to weapons allows you to add damage per shot to limbs, which, combined with significant skill, allows any player to get ridiculous TTKs with almost any weapon.

Nobody needed a decent skill gap, right?

The lack of a decent skill gap has long been an issue, especially among pros, which is why some smaller pros and streamers switched to Halo Infinite.

It doesn't help that the game isn't very fun.

The lack of a trophy system in multiplayer makes grenades unmanageable. Considering that deafening grenades now do 20 units of damage instead of 1, the gameplay becomes miserable.

Small changes like the fact that all shots become invisible on radar, regardless of suppressor use, also add to the suffering. The radar perk that shows unsuppressed fire on the map is available, but in previous CODs it was just an essential part of the game.

Most of the other effects that are available are good in the first slot. For balanced classes, this is not good at all.

This year's matchmaking is based on EMM, which translates to involvement-optimised matchmedition. This is to make sure you always get high or low levels, so you're addicted and keep playing.

The thing about Vanguard is that the movement mechanics in this game are just amazing. It's based on the popular Modern War engine, so moving around the map is really smooth. This adds skills to the game that were previously excluded thanks to TTK.

Overall, multiplayer seemed to lose its appeal. I think the problem with games in general now is that the competitive scene makes a lot of money, so they want to push it to get people interested, but a lot of game fans just want to play their usual games at home.

Most of these companies have yet to get the balance right, which is discouraging consumers from playing. Hopefully they'll figure this out soon.

Final Thoughts

Of the three game modes, the campaign is probably the best, but it lasts only 6 hours and it's hard to say that it's good, so there is no good image for this game.

In fact, since COLD WAR struggled to shift to Warzone, Vanguard seems to be shaped so that it can be easily integrated.

Even with the nuances of strengthening all the camouflage, it is a bit ridiculous now that most of the excellent camouflage has been trapped over the commercial wall.

In this project, Warzone is considered to be a really doubl e-edged sword.

On the other hand, he completely updated the COD and called many old players to the game, but on the other hand, he did serious damage to Vanguard mult i-players, and in fact, he was upset by franchise. Regarding the campaign, I think it was normal for a COD, but zombies ... Let's stop this story.

If this game is worth buying for you, it's no "no" if you give me a frank opinion. Don't waste your own $ 80 in Games like DLC.

It may be a good idea to wait for a few months and expect a lot of new features and new content to be released in the right season.
